Umbrellas Aren’t Just For Rainy Days – Fun Umbrella Cocktail Recipes
Sometimes you need an umbrella on a sunny day – in your drink! Are you thinking of welcoming spring with a social get together? Try some of this cute colorful umbrella drink recipes next time you’re hosting a spring time party.
Blue Hawaiian
1 oz light rum
1/2 oz Blue Curacao
1 oz Pineapple juice
1 oz Cream of Coconut
1 tsp Sugar
Mix all ingredients in a shaker half filled with ice cubes. Strain into an old fashioned glass half filled with crushed ice.
Decorate with a pretty pink umbrella and strawberries or a slice of pineapple.
A Day At The Beach
1 oz Malibu rum
1/2 oz Amaretto
4 oz orange juice, unsweetened
1/2 oz Grenadine
Shake rum, amaretto, and orange juice with ice. Pour into a highball glass half filled with crushed ice.
Top with grenadine. Garnish with a pineapple wedge and a yellow umbrella.
Tequila Sunrise
2 oz tequila
4 oz orange juice
3/4 oz grenadine
Mix tequila and orange juice in a shaker; pour into a highball glass filled with ice.
Pour grenadine in slowly so it floats on top.
The Umbrella Flower

Materials:
· 2 cocktail umbrellas
· Scissors
· Hot-glue gun and glue sticks
1. Snip the stick and cardboard stretchers off a cocktail umbrella, leaving just the colorful part.
2. Open a second umbrella and continue to push until it is inverted.
3. Thread first umbrella onto stick of second one until umbrellas are flush.
4. Dab with hot glue to hold in place.
